So who am I?
I’m Katie Guastapaglia. I’m a coach who helps people set up Scentventure® Parks for dogs. I support first time business owners and people who want to grow their current venues or make some changes, helping them set up the highest quality facilities so that more dogs can enjoy the same benefits of Scentventure® as Dogwood dogs.
We often get asked to open more Dogwoods around the country! I can’t personally run any more fields – but I do use my experience, knowledge and expertise to help others. My ambition is to see amazing Scentventure® Parks like Dogwood in every area of the country.
When a few months of opening, I started receiving several phone calls and emails a week from new business owners seeking advice. That number has since increased dramatically. In fact you’ve probably noticed, there are fields popping up everywhere now. But don’t worry, yours can be better than all of them.

Who do I work with?
Helping clients plan their venues makes me incredibly happy - it feels like opening Dogwood all over again each time! It’s a process I love. ‘Wow, this park is going to be the best in the country’, is a phrase I find myself saying a lot! I think about the dogs that are going on their first Scentventure®; sniffing, climbing, exploring, running free for the first time, I think of the smiles and tears, I think of the satisfaction my clients will have.
I love helping people and so I think it’s a shame when prospective field owners visit Dogwood pretending to be normal customers. It’s quite silly really - what a wasted opportunity when they could have come to me and asked me to show them around and talk them through it all. There’s so much knowledge I could have shared with them, so many mistakes I made that I would warn them against, so many things I would do differently if I could start again.
